At our recent Tallinn In-Between-Meeting, CIOR and CIOMR drew closer together by formally agreeing to a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Here is the story and document image from our dedicated Secretary General, Graham Banks:
“Signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between CIOR and CIOMR.
At the most recent In-Between-Meeting (IBM 2) held Jointly in Tallinn, Estonia, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the two Organisations that are CIOR and CIOMR. The document was signed by the respective Presidents, Lt Col Toomas Lumen (EST) and Lt Col Johan Munch (NOR).
The signing was witnessed by a wide audience of the Organisations’ Delegations, but gravitas was afforded us by the presence of the Estonian Minister of Defence, Mr Hanno Pevkur and Dr Andrew Murrison, who is not only the UK Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defence, but is himself a serving reservist and the UK Vice President to CIOR.
The MOU will not only assure the basis of all that is achieved between the two Organisations, but affords many opportunities for closer collegiate activity and mutual benefit in planning, logistics and shared resources. The document (below) will be available in due course for all to view, via respective organisations websites.”
