Dear COMEDS Members,
As we close out another productive year, I am pleased to share some excellent news. The MC 335 (COMEDS Terms of Reference) has been officially approved. Please find the approved document attached for your reference.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you for the time and effort invested in engaging with your national capitals, which has played a crucial role in achieving this successful outcome.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce the following important updates regarding COMEDS Membership and Roles:
- DPP Division is now a Permanent Member of COMEDS.
- MMCC-E has been officially granted Observer Status within COMEDS.
- Revised Role for COMEDS in the NDPP: COMEDS’ purpose has been clearly defined to align with its current position within NATO HQ and its critical role in supporting the Alliance’s strategic medical goals.
These developments further strengthen COMEDS’ ability to fulfill its mission of enhancing interoperability, preparedness, and responsiveness across the NATO medical community.
